Yay! I finished The Grim Reaper (absolutely wonderful!)... on to Web of Lies! :D

So, I'm now okay with the whole Cain thing... sort of... I still feel kind of bad for him in a way... I'm not sure why, I just am... I'm very curious though, can Kate still change form like she did before? Because, I mean, she is still dead, and that really was her body pumped full of chemicals... So, it seems like she would still be her soul... meanm she can change form still... Right?

Okay... so I know I said I was gonna move on to read the others, but I got distracted, so I only got to 17 of The Grim Reaper... :D

I find it completely fascinating... Although, I must admit... at first, I wanted her to like Zeke, but then I liked Cain a lot more... So far I'm kinda sad at the way this is turning out... I like Cain a lot... but I think by the time I'm finished, I'll be quite happy with the results... :D

I just had to review.. Because, number one, when I first read the description of this story, I didn't even think that I would like to read it.. But, I did, just out of curiosity.. And, now I am glad that I did! This story is the most amazing, fantastic piece of reading that I have seen in a long time. It resonated with me so much, that I could not stop reading till the very end. I love that this story makes you think how petty you can be sometimes and that anger and pain makes you vulnerable and it hurts you more than the person you are mad at. That sometimes you just have to let go of the pain, make more of an effort to be happy to be alive, to just breathe in and out.

The religous aspect did not irk me in the least, it fit, it helped me. Seeing that life might not be so bad after all, is a great thing.. You could definitely publish this one day. It rocks!

I loved this so much. You're such a great, GREAT writer. This story was beautifully written, executed and wrapped up. I loved the twist of Kate x Cain. That made me sad, as I loved Zeke, but then when it turned into a Kate x Zeke story, well... that made me REALLY happy :)

This was so good. I can't stress that enough. SO, SO GOOD! GREAT job.

That was incredible! I loved, loved, loved this! (heheh, sorry. Teenage girl ranting, whaddya expect?) I think it's definitely the best one you've written yet. Of course, the best thing about this story was that it felt like I was living in it as I was reading it because I was so enraptured with it. I just couldn't stop reading because it was so scintillating and absolutely mind-boggling.

I really enjoyed reading the story from Kate's perspective, and I don't think that it would have worked nearly as well from any other point of view. I found that she became a very likable heroine very quickly, especially because she wasn't irritatingly perfect. She did not handle every situation gracefully and she was slightly...petulant (I'm not sure if that is the exactly the right word I'm looking for) sometimes, but that was what made every triumph of hers so much more meaningful.

In reply to one of my earlier reviews you asked me why I didn't like Dave and my answer mostly just has to do with personal taste because I didn't really like his personality. He was probably too jock-ish for me, and, of course, he did cheat on Kate. You can't love every character in a story, and for the most part, a reader isn't supposed to, right? _

Yeah, I figured almost from the get-go that I'd end up liking Zeke. Of course, at first, I wasn't so sure because he was being such a jerk, but he turned out to be such a sweetie (don't tell him I said that. Lol.). And I really liked the way you made it seem in the beginning that Kate was meant to fall for Cain and not Zeke. I don't know why, but I just do. I love more complications and obstacles in a story for some odd reason. Maybe it's because it's all the more gratifying when the problems get solved...

And so we come to Cain. Eep. I practically get goosebumps thinking about him. I thought you portrayed him marvelously well. Those two chapters that you claimed might be slightly disturbing were a huge insight into his character, and they were really fitting (and I, being slightly morbid, did really like those chapters. They weren't my favorite, but I like them). I could really believe that he was almost like the embodiment of evil.

The Sevenfold Society was kind of creepy. And kind of funny, since they really had no part in the destruction of Cain, and they probably thought that they made a huge contribution by killing Kate. Would she still have been a kulba-kori if she had died of natural causes?

Anyway, I really am sorry for taking the long, darndest time to review! But I tell you, this was freakin' awesome! There is no way that this story would not make it onto my favorites list.

Well; this story has kept me up until 1:30 at night, or should i say morning, driven me nearly insane with all the heartbreaking twists and sad turns and i still absolutely, wholely and completely, loved the story. Hey, I like how this story is going, its interesting so far. Is that North Pole comment really a well-known phrase? I've never heard it..of course I live in the North Pole..so it would make sense eh? Anywhoo, I like the imagery that you created with this story. Great job.

This was an excellent story. I had to sit here and read it all in one shot... with several breaks in between... a girl has to eat, you know. Lol. Anyway, I think this would make an excellent book, sure it needs tons of editing and whatnot (but what book doesn't?). If ever you make this into a book, drop me a line, you'll have earned yourself a fan right here.
