| D.Coulton chapter 10 . 3/23/2007 It's not a bad story... the thing is, it took f $& loads of patient and s#! load of spare time to get to the good part... I mean, it was really boring to read a story where nothing happens when you were expecting some supernatural/sci fi/religious ghost-busting action or holic-romance ... which didn't happen until chapter 7! I think that's what turns most people away... it just took so long for Kate's story to have any involvement with the Grim Reaper at all... |
| Arianna Kaye chapter 23 . 3/18/2007 This story is like a giant game of Spot the Underhanded Reference to Mormonism . . . that's great. :D (if it wasn't deliberate, I have to inform you that someone's been playing tapes of LDS teachings in your ears while you sleep) I had /so/ much fun reading this - it was scary, and very interesting from a psychological point of view . . . Kate's character development was believable and fascinating, and character development is tough . . . one of your strenghts as a writer though, I'd say, based on this and Web of Lies (character development there is actually astoundingly well-done, I should note that now) I'd like to leave a more detailed review, but it's kind of hard to review a story as a whole . . . but I just had to say well done! And it leaves itself so open for sequals! :D :D :D |
