Atheneon chapter 10 . 4/26/2012
I don't know whether to congratulate you on a great piece of writing or to sympathize with your pain. I do praise you for your wisdom in remaining - just a tiny bit - open for someone to love you. Very good!

This poem I can relate to... It's a never ending cycle, isn't it? Love... hate... hating oneself for hating... forcing oneself back to love... only to have it happen again, and again, and again.

Ygg chapter 8 . 12/22/2006
Ooh this is great! I especially love your adjectives, because they create a subtle tension, like "soft", "pink" vs "raw" and "injured". The last line is absolutely perfect in its analogy with broken trust.. the scar might be healed, new tissue might conceal it, yet it always stays with you, always reminds you, and it changes you forever. Marvelous poem!
