i'd say the second version of the haiku was the best. it said the most and that last line was really beautiful.

This poem I can relate to... It's a never ending cycle, isn't it? Love... hate... hating oneself for hating... forcing oneself back to love... only to have it happen again, and again, and again.

Ooh this is great! I especially love your adjectives, because they create a subtle tension, like "soft", "pink" vs "raw" and "injured". The last line is absolutely perfect in its analogy with broken trust.. the scar might be healed, new tissue might conceal it, yet it always stays with you, always reminds you, and it changes you forever. Marvelous poem!
