Reviews for Asarym ara Bovikana |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey, it's great to see an update for this story! For a while, I was afraid that it was on permanent hiatus - which would have been a pity as this is a really original, interesting tale. Anyways, it's great to hear the Garik is doing well - I've been wondering what's happening with him. :) |
![]() ![]() "morning training was typical"? I thought they didn't have training in the mornings? |
![]() ![]() It seems that telling Garik to try to escape is rather stupid because he will be killed if he fails and his chances are very slim. |
![]() ![]() If Garik can be taught to fight the spells then Asarym may not be as special as he originally seemed, although he did it all on his own. He also had to have the heart markings to get him under better control. The training they are having seems useless since they are not using the slave names to give them orders. Why teach them to follow orders without their slave names when using the slave names would be more efficient? |
![]() ![]() Very sad chapter. |
![]() ![]() The General seems to tell everyone different things but Asarym is very intelligent, just like the General, and seems to figure out most of the lies he tells. With the little education that Asarym has had he must be naturally intuitive. He obviously would have street smarts from his years of homelessness, but he also has a well developed intuition that is very impressive and is very strong-willed. I stand behind my previous predictions! |
![]() ![]() Very interesting chapter. Why are the people being lied to and why would history not be recorded correctly so that an historian would see the truth. Was it recorded incorrectly from the start or was it changed to fool the people later. In other words, when did the deception begin? You said that when the dragon attack the soldiers come before any real damage is done but there are people being killed and wounded in the dragon attacks, such as the brothers parents being killed and the girl's family being burned up. That is why this place exists, to take in refugees, some wounded, some orphaned, etc. |
![]() ![]() Why was Harryl kept apart from everyone else and why is his death a secret? |
![]() ![]() Intriguing comment by the old man! I suspect the boy has been predicted to conquor the queen's cruelty and unite the dragons and people. I have not read ahead of this chapter or don't remember what happens if I did. I'm just guessing. That is what is so special about the boy. But his father didn't know? His father obviously knew what was happening in the land and that is why he left, though I wonder how he escaped. Bur he must have known this boy was special and would have to return to the land some day. Well, it's all speculation. I'll have to read on. |
![]() ![]() Good chapter. Many questions, again, arise. I will await the answers since you say that others have asked already. |
![]() ![]() Good chapter, raises a lot of questions. The big one is why do they think he is a soldier? |
![]() ![]() Why does Tamion say the slavename is no good now so he needs the boys real name but then continues to use the slavename after the procedure? |
![]() ![]() Why did his father so boldly us the name Bovikana? |
![]() ![]() Where did they take the blood from the boy and the dragon? |
![]() ![]() How does he know that Ara will survive and be okay, when nobody else has successfully done so? |
