Reviews for endless
emptyword chapter 1 . 10/27/2007
Oh. Oh my, incredible work. Heartfelt, poignant, and cutting.

"You feel like crying, you want to be crying, and tears will even gather behind your eyes, but you cannot make them fall. Something holds you back—pride, maybe, or perhaps just fear. You don’t want to sound stupid, after all. So you regulate your breathing, maintain the quiet pleas, and don’t push yourself too hard."

Your writing is gorgeous and so, so present. It's the sort of thing you savor on cold nights with hot chocolate and read aloud to yourself. It's so -human-.

This is have a brilliant way of capturing emotions and pacing them so that a reader can't help but fall into them and feel pulled along by the mind of the narrator. I found myself trembling by the time I'd reached the end of this, which the ever looming thought that the situation is endless as the title suggests. Wonderful work.
