It's pretty cool how you can make a whole poem about a single color. It really shows skill. As simple as a sunset can be, you illustrate it very well, light personification and all. I did find the first few lines to be a bit weaker than the other lines, but you made up the rest of them well by introducing words like "velvet," "dusky," and "amethyst."

It doesn't do a ton new, at least when it comes to the actual event, but you illustrate the whole work with some serious strength and ability. Keep up the great work.

I like the image. the storm clouds remind me of the wicked storm we had here today.

Though the line 'the colour of midnight' seems to be out of place to me. could just be me though xD.
