So, I guess this is going to be one of those promising and interesting stories that are going to languish in limbo without hope of ever being completed. I read a lot of cliche stories like this but the first two chapters of this story is actually a whole lot better than most of the finished ones out there. There's something different about Emi and Parker from the usual best-friends-in-love-but-not-wanting-to-admit-it lead characters in other stories. This story hasn't been updated since 2008, though, so I guess this review will be sent out into the world wide web without any hope of causing an effect. Oh, well...

I love this beginning. You do an excellent job portraying both the characters as real and interesting people. There are some delightfully funny incidents (Oscar, for example) and some delicious natural angstness that isn't, you know, icky or overplayed. This is only the first chapter, but you've put enough into it that I already feel invested in the lives of Emi and Parker both. Please continue soon!
