Hey you probably don't have experience with this but I'd like to let you know that childbirth is not bloody when you are pushing the baby out. There is only amniotic fluid that would come out when the sac opens and that is clear. If there is any blood present before the babies head reaches the entrance to the vagina, it means there is something wrong and you would probably get an emergency section ( because it could mean that placental abtuption(when placenta which supplies the baby with oxygen and nutrients has separated prematurely from the uterine wall) has occurred and baby could die in the womb if not taken out quickly . The normal bleeding can start when the babies head is passing through the vaginal entrance and it tears(still shouldn't be enough blood to soak a towel and this doesn't always happen) and the most blood will come when the placenta is released from the uterine wall after the baby is already born. Also babies usually come out looking white (or covered in white rather because they are covered in a substance called vernix while they are in the womb that protect their skin

Awww this story was bittersweet,I at first was sad for Calcifex because in reality he just want love and once he found it, there was trouble ahead. Cerasus was such a sweet and loving character and Sidereus always with Calcifex in the goods and in the bad, such an amazing friend. My favorite was calcifex and good story. it has been 7 years since it was create hope you can see my review though.

I usually am not into reading fantasy fiction, just mostly realistic fiction. But, I've grown attached to this story already and it's only the first chapter. It's entertaining and pretty funny. I'm excited for more. -

Just figured I'd tell you, the wonderful author, that I loved reading this story :D

The main character and his light spirit either reminds me of Link and Navi or from Howl's moving castle with Howl and Calcifer. xD

I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite stories on this entire website! It's sweet and sad and so romantic (though I'm sure I was blushing like Cerasus at some points!) and I absolutely adored reading it!
