| Nokturnal Augury chapter 1 . 1/30/2007
Ok now this one is on a whole different level. There's the whole death and pain level, and then the paper and ink level. It's like a...paradox? Oxymoron. A...something. The antithesis throws the reader off, thus making me love it even more.
Or maybe I'm just weird.

I can see how the cure is brought about with this action of handing over "pen and paper and ink," however I find it difficult to follow the poem's progression as a story. Each line is very staccato in rhythm and I think this amplifies the raw emotion let out with the final, revealing line, but once again, I do not really see the meaning in the poem. Perhaps I'm simply missing the clues and hints present in each line; then again, perhaps you might want to expand the poem a little more for easier comprehension, unless this is meant as a completely personal poem not meant for the un-initiated.
