it was a good start to the story, although I’d move on a little fast, you could have done with more detail to certain parts and perhaps held more of the story in the village so we could have got to know the character a bit more. Apart from that and the fact it seems to resemble Eragon a bit, it’s a decent start to a story, keep it up small fry.
