|Reviews for Carving Sapphire Pictures|

Wow. It sure has been a while, hasn't it?
The whole picture of this piece can be perfectly ordinary, but your diction evokes a specific feeling that even being stranded on a highway can be magical.
I really missed reading your works, but I had to take a break. I need to make up for lost time, huh?

The way the ending loops around back to the beginning is great here. It wouldn't work in some places, but I like it in this poem.
The idea of feeling 'the deepest blue' is lovely.
Your style of slightly foggy images coupled with odd life truths reflects well over subjects like this. I like the fog with these sapphire pictures.

"The silence hovers in a 3 A.M. Walt Whitman way." That line alone is enough to put this on my favorites. I simply love what you've done with this piece. It's visual & incredible & I just love everything about it, from sitting in a truck stop at 3 in the morning to this deep, intense moment of realizing you're so blue you're sapphire. That's just astounding. I obviously love this piece. Gorgeous. Keep writing! :)

Lovely imagery, dear. M tainted beauty, that's the way I see it.
