| The Breakdancing Ninja chapter 1 . 3/15/2007
I think when a person loses someone close to them whether because of a friendship rift or death or some other circumstance, a feeling of being lost is primary-because, not only is friendship, it's a state of mind; that phrase "where do you turn to" has an implied "who", just as how someone says "I feel at home with this person". And when you lose that home, and in essence, become homeless, the feeling of being completely lost becomes something real, and even physical in a way, even though the problem may be emotional.
A very nice poem. A (black) rainbow is an interesting concept, Pieces. A very stark image at that.
| Alyosha Karamazov chapter 1 . 3/15/2007
I love the way you started the poem with the repetition of the 'and' at the front of the line because it got me into the flow of the poem and (black) rainbow was a nice touch. Also the ending, the way you broke the words into three seperate lines really slammed the emphasis on them as I read and that serves as a great finish. Awesome job.
