And the Faerie Queen strikes me as slightly selfish, but she doesn't let that show in any way other than her desire to be with Coriander and Lucern. Great short story! |

| frogs of war chapter 1 . 3/14/2009 That was satisfying. Everything just fell into place at the end. Amaryllis might have been powerful, but she doesn't seem all that clever. Rain should have been wearing a shift (chemise, cote, etc.) under that corset because a shift can be washed and a corset can't, but I guess none of the dresses needed washing anyway. Maybe Amaryllis had a spell on her clothes to keep them clean. I wonder whether Hyacinth will simply move in. Will they tell the populous that Rain pretended to be Amaryllis for all those years or let them think what that the queen is just now abdicating? Anyway, Rain can look forward to warm breakfasts from now on. |

| blackberrydream chapter 1 . 4/22/2008 Wow, that was really long, it took me like an hour to read, but it was so worth it. Incredably beautiful and descriptive. Rain is such a cute character! And he makes a great Queen XD Most of the time oneshots are kind of lacking in point or plot but you did a really good job keeping the main plot and a few side stories interesting and then tying them all together at the end. Beautiful job! |
