Reviews for Love Ya, Unc |

![]() ![]() Omg, I just love your writing style for this story. It's just amusing in a cute way. I wanted to wait til the later chapters to review. But I couldn't contain myself. This is just pure genius. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was funny. Update! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very few stories have actually made me laugh out loud while I've read them, even if I find them hilarious. I can't keep a smile off my face when I read this, and I laugh at least every other chapter. It's very much the cliche high school romance story, but it's totally not at the same time, and I love it. SO perfectly executed! Lacy and Scott have NO hitches in their personalities at all, which is really impressive considering how...all over the place they are. People can't even keep normal characters...normal. But you can so easily keep insane insane. I love it. Seriously. I can't wait for the next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah! This is hilarious. I admit, at times I am turned off by stories with main (female) characters who are absolutely INSANE, but for some reason, I like Lacy. And the "Uncle" thing hasn't been done before (at least in any story I've read thus far), which makes your story worth reading in and of itself. Keep up the good work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't usually review chapters in the middle of the story, but this one really made me laugh. The dialogue is great! |
![]() ![]() ![]() and effervescent-sentiments strikes again! you cannot believe how happy I was when, lo & behold, I saw 'Love Ya, Unc' had new updated chapters! yes, the 'oh my, your uncle/ dad/ cousin/ brother isn't actually your your uncle/ dad/ cousin/ brother - they're adopted!' is a bit of a cliche, but at least Scott & Lacy are happy together .. well, hopefully :) er, this is just my opinion, but when you put the 'author's note' right in the middle of the chapter, it sorta breaks my concentration. so - my suggestion is that you just write it at the very bottom of the page! of course, the interrupting author's note sorta adds to the appeal of this story too .. anyways! thanks for updating, & I can't wait for the next chapter! :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this, Julia, darling! The dialogue sounds like stuff my best friend would say. Love ~Dia |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lol, I love this! Why did I stop reading after chapter three? Anyway "“Allergies,” he sighs, pouting. “Your point?” “I’ll… die?”" I swear I've had almost the exact same conversation before! I love this. Love ~Dia |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG, I loved it! But some times, I swear, I think just maybe you were on crack or sniffing sharpies! LMFAO... the whole story. Lacy is insane, but she a quirky person, and having an uncle like that.. wow... just wow. Anyway, update soon! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Your story is so wacky! but it is also very entertaining. please keep it up! |
![]() ![]() ![]() ahaha. i can feel them connecting in a romantic way and i have only one thing to say about it. "its about damn time!" haha so you should update soon! where have you been? im anxious man. dont leave me hangin |
![]() ![]() ![]() that was so random and funny lol, i laughed soo much its great i love it XD lol, i suspected that either scott or her dad would be adopted but was thinking it was gonna be scott lol, but yh amazingness! (lol at spilling mash potato on ur keyboard in um, whatever chappy it was) XD |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sasha! However could I forget Sasha? I do still like Sasha. If Lacy hooks up with her uncle, that can leave Sasha's fictional character for me. Great, Great friend. I like that phrase: he's finer than angel hair pasta. It's really wicked awesome. Did you come up with it yourself? And I think Scott must have known she was being mocking. That being said, still super embarrassing. Scott really is a doll. The manliest doll, possible, of course. Can you explain the whole vinegar, calcium chloride thing to me? I mean, I know it has to do with Chemistry, but I forgot everything I learned in that class as soon as aced the final. Don't ignore the slightly incestuous feelings between you and Scott, Lacy! Don't do it! THE KILLERS! Man, I really use to love them. The best thing about being old is that you can be mean and nobody really cares. I haven't decided it I was to be the wise and beautiful old woman or the old woman who scares away all the little children. Stupid, annoying kids with their sticky fingers. It could be fun fun fun! If I do the cookie dance, will you give me a cookie? Butthead, how original. Chloe is a great friend. I can't believe I'm going to have to WAIT for the kiss . . . alas, oh well, I will survive. There is more in heaven and earth, after all, than is dreamt of in my philosophies. Ado Ado Cassandra Rose ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Your opening line doesn't fool me for one second! I would say that majority (if not all) the sporks in the world are not silverware, but, in fact, plastic-ware. Will these terms involve physical contact of the non-platonic sort? Psh! That's sucks for both Lacy and I. I'm loving the insults though, not going to lie. AH! She said THE! I like tetris. Go Chloe for being a great friend! Ha hah. UNTOUCHED issues. Easily amused, sorry. Just because her father was adopted, doesn't mean that Scott isn't her uncle. But if it makes him feel any better, for his future seduction, you know, then he can be her Unabomber. And an unabomber day to you! One more chapter . . . and then I have to wait. Cassandra |
![]() ![]() ![]() I wanna spork! The mother of a spork is a spoon. The father is a fork. That's why girls like to spoon and guys like to fork. What? I'm surprised you have it in you to deal with these rambling reviews. Except Clement didn't give her ANY genes. Except maybe the pair she's wearing . . . if gene was spelled 'jean' and he bought her a pair before he died. Poor Scotty . . . now he's going to have to DEAL with the feelings he has for his 'not-a-niece'. What a friend Chloe is. Like seriously . . . she's a great friend. Not just any girl can be happy about the fact that her best friend can get together with her boyfriend, not only that, but ENCOURAGE it. I'm glad this story is so light-hearted and fun though. If it were a serious kind of story, I wouldn't be able to wrap my mind around Scott and Lacy getting together. I mean, it's like when your parents remarry when you're two and you have a step sibling and then you fall in love at eighteen. WHAT! But this story is just so fun, that the whole incest-without-the-blood thing doesn't even bother me. Cassandra |
