Brittany is really pissing me off right now. I don't know if it's the 'dumb blond' attitude or if I just really like Paula more. Either way, I really hope Darren would put her to place. And damn right Carrie; the world doesn't revolve around 'Queen Brit'.

There are some confusing parts in your story, but that's mostly just because of the way you wrote the dialogue, it was hard to keep up with who was actually talking.

I stilled loved it though. So good job :)

this story is a cliche'. no argument about that. and it's not a bad thing either.

but the POV u told the story from made all the difference. it made this interesting story, amazing!

the plots were carefully written and it's the best part of the story. aside from the interestingly colorful characters.

i love darren the most at the near end, he always sounded so full of wisdom and he was deep. even though the slight indifference appearance he kept on was annoying sometimes.

ur characters development were great. that's ur strong point.

im glad everybody finally had their own ' happily ever after' but imo the scenes when brit and darren as a couple should be more. i just wanna see how darren will treat brit ifo her friends.

This actually started out as so much of a cliche but turned out to be so unforgettable. I can't tune out of this story even though i finished reading this 2 days ago. I loved how the "long story" between Paula and Brittany unfolded slowly, but fantastically through the whole story. The ending was great and i have to agree that THAT kiss was highly enticipated.

It kind of annoyed me at first though how Brittany was so bitchy, stuck-up and everything, but the way she began to realise and change, that was just WOW. I also really liked how the POVs rotated around the other characters, giving me a really full view into the story. I loved Darren and Chris thank you i never get how authors describe hot guys so well ;)

1) "It was a beautiful august afternoon, but of course, everyday in California was beautiful." maybe talk about this just a little more? seems like a great place for some cynicism.

2) Oh god. Something's telling me *she* broke up with Chris back in 9th...which means the odds of him not still being crushed on her are around 35%. At best.

3) I like that absolutely everyone has some sort of ongoing social conflict. There aren't any flat characters. There just isn't room for there to be with all that drama roaming around.

4) "Don't ask how we got to the mall. It just happened." That made me grin

5) Wow, she's pretty insistent that she doesn't like Darren. Totally doesn't like him at all. Nope. Yup. I mean, uh, no again. Really not secretly in love.

6) "Now go crawl back into the black hole you came from, wench!" ...wench? What prom-queen stereotype cheerleader knows and uses the word wench? ...unless she's secretly a pirate too! That would be epic.

"I do believe in faeries" was kind of a bored 'what-if' moment, and it honestly should've had more plot than that, but I'm glad you liked it.

Here's my return review.

So, once upon a time, one of my friends say me down and made me watch "She's All That." I actually kind of enjoyed it, in a guilty way, and that's what this is putting me in mind of. You play the stereotypes well, and I feel like they'll develop really dynamically when the plot starts rolling. I can already see complicated triangles looming on the horizon.

There isn't much for me to critique in this chapter. The places where the writing feels a little awkward are the exact same places where it would feel awkward in a teen summer comedy, so that's more playing to the genre than a stylistic thing to fix. Honestly, I don't have much to say beyond 'this is a good start.'

Also, I'm really hoping you won't add in young Usher in post-production. :p

wow, this story was just WOW. this story was so amazingly written, and i love how you alternate between diffrent points of views, but you still manage to keep the story on the main character. the chemistry between brit. and darren is just amazing, i have no idea how you dont have 10 kajillion reviews yet. keep up the good work, and please write more stories :D

THIS IS AMAZINGG. I LOVE DARREN BERGES. he sounds like hot sex. i love this story btw, in case you didnt pick that up from my obsessing

and so after several hours i've finally finished reading this story. i kind of liked it, i suppose. it's different BECAUSE it's in the eyes of her Queen B-tchiness. I thought about this for a while but... why is it that a lot of people in these stories - the main characters especially - are good looking? it's unnerving how many supposed good looking people there are out there. is that what makes/or at least contributes to love?

if darren was plain looking would brittany (he has the same persona) still be so 'in love' with him? don't answer to this review; just saying. :)

Although not on my list of favourites, it's definitely worth reviewing. I think it's because you added a lot of those extra elements in the stories, it wasn't JUST the cliche.

I suppose in practically every other story Paula would be the protagonist, chris would be the love interest and brittany would be the bitch/arch nemesis.

I ABSOLUTELY loved the improv between Darren and Brittany in this chapter i thought the dialogue was rlly entertaining

I dont know when you wrote this, or when you finished it, but its freakin AMAZING. I loved the story and everything, but it also like... makes me look inside myself and helped me somewhat figure things out that need to be figured out. So congratulations awesome job and I'm very jealous that you can write like this.

ps. Darren... my soulmate right there? every part of him... he sounds so deliciously gorgeous i dont even know what to say. but ah my dream man RIGHT THERE. so props on coming up with that one too :)

Fanatastic :) I sat there and read it from start to finish, (even managing to forget about my jap class :[ ) and I loved Darren and Brit! Hope their is an epilogue!
