This story is coming along really well. I don't think that her conversation with Landon needed to be in italics, but everything else was great. The New Year's Party should be interesting. Keep up the good work!

So far, so good. The storyline is a pretty interesting, and the characters could be developed a bit more, but for the most part, it's a nice story.

I hope Mia gets the money fast. I wonder what would happen when she gets evicted. Actually as cruel as it sounds, Mia and Becca (is that her roomates name? Don't remember) should get evicted before coming up with the money because it will add some drama. Well, update soon yada yada yada. You know the drill!

the last part of this chapter was like a scene out of a modern day fairytale or something. kind of reminded me of pretty woman, haha. i guess this is a sign that mia's plan to get all the cash out of her boss that she can is going pretty well. reasonably speaking though, how does she expect to get twenty eight thousand dollars out of him by the month's end? and how would she even go about asking for it? i guess those are all questions you'll be answering in the chapters to come! so is this dolce dress you've described real? like from one of their actual collections or did you make it up? I'd love to see a picture if it's real! i love fashion and clothes, so i really enjoyed reading about their shopping excursion. as always, great chapter, and i can't wait to find out more about all of them!

This is pretty much a moot point, for I trust you will eventually guide us to liking the guy that wins Mia's true affections, but I want Landon to win! I sit here in petulance, but I must say, your descriptions and craftings of the settings are rich and fulfilling.

Hi! Oh mygosh, I LOVE this story. I especially love that you're updating so much quicker than with Land of Red.

Anyway, this has definitely been my favorite chapter so far.

But an extramarital affair? Eesh. I try so hard to retain SOME sort of respect for marriage (sometimes I feel like it's just me and a few nuns that feel that way).

It would be very convenient for his wife to die in a freak accident.
