My favorites were the menehunes, the misschievous elves of the Big Island. As kids, we use to have searches after which everybody swore they saw one.

Wow, I've read my share of legends and this one really captures the spirit and voice! I'm really impressed, it sounds authentic! Is some of this traditional legends, or did you come up with all of this?
