![]() ![]() So, are we or are we not having a sequel? I've got to say, this is by far one of the best slash stories I've enjoyed. It's like watching a movie - gotta admit, though, the actor that took Joe's place looks a bit too asian to fit in. But oh well - let's just blame it on my recent obsession with korean dramas. |
![]() ![]() GOD RAN OUT OF PEANUTS! 8D LMFAO |
![]() ![]() ![]() oh my gawd this story was so amazing. Perfectly done. XDD |
![]() ![]() I just read this story from start to finish, and I thought I'd just let you know how much I enjoyed it, even though you finished it ages ago. Reading something on fictionpress in one go isn't something I do everyday. I don't usually read slash (in fact I don't think I've ever finished one before) but your writing totally drew me in (as did the wonderfully flawed characters) It was a fabulous concept, excellently executed. You have a great writing voice, everything flows very well. Very rarely was I jerked out of the illusion that these characters were real. Often when I read things I can't help myself picking apart the writing, the characters, the plot, but that was kept to a bare minimium here. I'm little reluctant to tell you that I found it a little predictable, in case it taints what really is a glowing review. Sometimes a little predictability is just what you need, a safety net if you will. You never had me rolling my eyes going, well I saw that one coming, because I enjoyed the ride much too much to care. I hope this gives you some warm fuzzies because I think you deserve it :) Who doesn't want warm fuzzy feelings? Thanks |
![]() ![]() this story is great. your other stories are amazing too but this one i like because of the humor, the utter cuteness of Adam, and supernatural stuff, and the slow romance. cool. it works. you sound like you feel a little shaky with this and we can get into the nitty-gritty but the overall feel of the story is great. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing story with a brilliantly created character. Adam is by far the most interesting person I have never met. I admit I have a certain weakness for emotionally instable characters and the OCD bits along with the can't look anyone in the eye bits just make me love him even more. *sigh* I don't know if you're still considering turning this into a series or not but if you are, then I think you should know I would most definitely read it. All in all, it was such a joy to read, thank you for sharing. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was absolutely amazing. i really enjoyed it and place it up there with the greats. kudos infinity! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I know this is old, so my opinion my not matter, but i have two things to say. 1: this is an amazing story and i need to tell you now in case it stops being amazing (no offense to you but it is just my luck that what starts as a fave deteriorates) 2: to me Adam is very skinny, like he stretches and you can see ribs. his limbs are long even though he isnt that tall, long fingers are better for tapping things. he has plain dark brown eyes, and plain medium brown hair, which is just slightly 'too long'. thin lips and a rounded nose, surprisingly groomed eyebrows and pale, but not in a natural way, not like he stays out of the sun. he wears clothes that are old, neutral colors, and just a bit too big. okay anyway, that probably wasn't needed but since you asked... |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG I LOVE YOU! *glomps* This story is awesome! It could totally be published! I love the way you have him OCD, and his 'inner voice' is hilarious, especially the 'God throwing peanuts' thing. *grins* I never expected to find something like this, so thank you! It's gay, it's supernatural, it's got death waves in it, and the main character /gets the guy/! It's perfect! *does the Yes Dance - youtube it* Thank you for this wicked fic! I hope that there are sequels, if this is indeed a 'series'. Mirage |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is really an awesome story. It's so wonderfully well written, with such an amazing set of characters. I love how Adam is wonderfully damaged, and his abilities are very interesting. I love how Joe isn't the perfect knight in shining armour coming to save Adam, but another flawed character. I really do hope you turn this into a series, with Adam's abilities it would make it so interesting! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved this to bits, I must say. Thoroughly enjoyed poor Adam's journey through this. I admire him as a character, totally sympathised with his suffering and both his empathetic and personal pain. His background was just the right mix of normal, promising and tragic. His confusion at how to deal with Joe, himself, his life and his future just made so much sense in a way I could sort of relate to. The concept behind him and his role in this story fascinates me; I hope you don't mind if I say I've read the psychic/coffee!enhancer concept before and have myslf been flirting with writing something similar. I don't think I've ever read about the eye-contact factor, if that's any consolation. Dearly love this story and its characters and have added it to my Favourites. Many thanks for sharing this story and I hope you continue to grace us with more of these masterpieces. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. So I took my time reading this story because, to be honest, the summary kinda put me off. But after seeing it on so many favorites lists, I decided to go for it. Damn I'm glad I did. I loved the interplay between Adam and Joe, especially the fact they're both far from perfect. And the scene with Adam's family had me in tears I was laughing so hard. If you ever put up a sequel, I"ll be first in line to read it :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the last 5 sentences. Yes, I counted. Especially the last one. The story was really intense in a sweet weird way. I guess you should understand the way. You wrote it. Either way, I really enjoyed. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved this story! Thank you for the fantastic read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Cool. Yeah, the ending was kinda out of the blue but it's funny...god and his peanuts. X3 Funny how Benny's sister was May and Joe's niece was Amy. Same letters...oh well. loved it. |
