Reviews for The Ancient Dialect Of The Sea
Mosaic Stains chapter 1 . 5/17/2007
Shame I haven't reviewed you lately. I doubt I'll ever catch up with all of your poems.

Anyway, while reading this I had a vision of a sea nymph apart of the sea waves literally in hair and body, praying to Poseidon. I also thought of those movies in which the female is sacrificed to a beast. And as she awaits her given fate, she prays to the Gods for to be saved.

...I believe loveliness of your poem just gave me my next sketch idea.

The title is absolutely amazing. The poem itself is even better.

'You supplicate upon an altar of salted waves' The only word I can think of is delicious.

Felicia.
