Reviews for I'm Gone
John Scott Brewer chapter 1 . 9/5/2007
Gives the feeling of someone who has already walked through such places before.

I think I miss them. The people I've never been able to meet, and never could have. They are an endless procession, those walkers with their stories.

I take heart that others walk along parallel lines.

And though our paths may never cross, the feeling remains that others walk alongside you in the mist. Even if you cannot see them, they are there, having their own doubts and facing their own fears.

Poems like this serve to remind me that those others walk too.

Sad though, that this one has gone.

p.s. I love the Hot, dusty land.

I can see their feet kicking it up and watching it spiral off.

this expresses the feelings I often feel. I like the broken lines which give the feeling that the person speaking is thinking about what they say next and just adding on a short point. If that makes sense anyway.
