Pretty, pretty funny! But some of it seemed a little out there... It didn't mesh perfectly, but anything rarely does. It has some really good potential though! And I didn't notice any grammar errors.

But then, I'm no English teacher...

I guess you have a point about the everything is made in China thing. But have you noticed that they're also made in taiwan? What bout german and swiss chocolate?

Though I would be pissed if everything was made in USA. I don't like being reminded that its a powerful country.

Dude I love this chapter, the 5 year old kid seemed really cute and the nickname too lol. Also I love all those animes you mentioned, I have seen every single one of them! Oh and have you read the manga for Kodocha, cuz let me tell you, it was AMAZING! Yep, so if you haven't gathered by now, I'm a total Anime/Manga freak ) cool ain't it.

Maybe you could do some research instead of basing your opinion on "what you've heard?" And sometimes the little that they make helps keep their families afloat. Plus, it's not fair to foist your opinions onto other cultures that you don't know very much about.

Stuff are 'made in China' because of, yes, you got it right - cheap labor. But I really don't think they do children slavery. If it's anything, it's more like because these children's families are poor, and the children go out to work for poor wages. I should know 'cos I live in China. ;)

Anyway, that's not the point of my review (I got sidetracked), I just want to say that I love your story. It is awesome. :D I love Reese and how she gives nicknames to people. Hehehe. And I'm so jealous of her job.. I wanna work in an animal shelter! :O
