Reviews for Mist
the gipper chapter 1 . 6/2/2007
This poem is so beautiful. It makes me want to cry. I read your bio. I can't believe such a touching piece was written by a thirteen year old! You have such beautiful insight into the world, and such love for God's creation. I am a born again Christian who attends Calvary Chapel Hills, 17, will be a senior this fall. This past year, I have been in a creative writing class, and wrote many poems depicting nature as God's glory, and one of them had a theme of mist in it. It was entitled "Rain" and I used rain as a metaphor for washing my soul clean of sin and shame like Jesus' blood on the cross. I shared with the group of students that I meet with one day a week(Friday)to discuss what we've written that week. I recieved wonderful reviews on it, but I was glad to hear one of the students ask me about God, if the poem was spiritual. Your poem is so uplifting, and just reading it sent chills down my spine. You have a God given talent, and I hope you can publish this, and use it as a witness for the Gospel. Also, I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to find another Christian writer out there posting poems and other works to show people that God's love is real, and that they need salvation through Jesus! God bless you, and continue witnessing for God! Rock on for His Glory! Love in Christ, The Gipper/Anna Kate
