![]() ![]() Title: Blindness “Mommy, What are clouds like?” “They’re like fluffy cotton candy.” “Mommy, What’s a rainbow look like?” “Like a nice hot water bottle on a freezing cold night.” “Mommy, What’s Love?” “Love is blindness. Blindness to everything but feeling.” “Mommy. Will I ever get to see love? “Honey, you’re the only one in this world who can see love.” |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome idea. Woah, everyone's really good. Anyway, here- my lame attempt at this fivetyfive thingy.. Title: Wings I look at his wings. Torn, pristine white stained with blood, dirty, sinful and gruesome. His cheeks are wet with tears. He sobs, hard. Feathers litter the ground. They seem to be proof of lost innocence. I smile. "You are beautiful when you're broken like this." - Fourty six words.. |
![]() ![]() ![]() O! Great idea, dear. And here's my attempt, pitiful though it may be. Title: Weak. He said she was weak. He was the reason for her tears, her pain. He was the reason she wore sunglasses on cloudy days. He’d taken away her dreams, her happiness. And now, thanks to her, a wooden box is his new home. “Goodbye you bastard,” she mumbles, dropping the rose. Who was weak now? It's fifty-five words even. xD Again, great idea. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I picked up my frog, and placed its mouth on my lips. Nothing. He jumped slowly away I looked up, water cascading down. Mingling with tears of love lost And I jumped after my prince. T’was the kiss of rain that washed away the separation of our worlds and opened the dam of my desires. - cheers, wonderful idea this 55 thing ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love the concept. Here's my story. 55 words total. ”I hate you” I whispered, my voice husky. “I’m well-aware” he said nibling my lower lip, a twinkle in his eyes. “I’m serious” I insisted. “If ”he interrupted me with one kiss “he”- another kiss - “finds” – two kisses - “out...” “Yeah, yeah, yeah” he said playfully “He’ll kill us both”. Then hunger enveloped us. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, interesting. I like to write drabbles (exactly 100 words), so I like short stuff like this...just wondering, where did you get 55 words from? Good stuff though (all authors). :0) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, I thought I'd give your fiftyfive fiction thing a shot. here's my story. hope you like it. even if you don't message me please. “You like him.” “No.” “yes.” “No.” “Liar.” “Um… am not?” “Oh! You do!” “Ok, fine. I like him. Are you happy now?” “Yes,” I heard a voice behind me say. Then, “Finally.” It was him. I turned around. “Finally.” He said again. Then he kissed me. ok that's it. what did ya think? ~Moonlight Dance~ |
![]() ![]() ![]() woah, cool, it's mine! hahaha. thanks so much for the review on my story. I'm not sure yet what the title of my fiftyfive is yet. I came up with "The Fake Truth" and "The Meaning of A Word", but I was never really good with titles, haha. What do you think? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice ones. Let me think... can we use these later on as a scene in a separate story? On the stairs, he hears her voice. "Come on, sweets, let's get you out before he finds you." He freezes, moves towards her. Her hands wrap around something invisible. "What are you doing?" She starts, and then holds out her hands. "Mittens caught a mouse." |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is really cool! I liked all the emotion in your Paint story, and the crazy plotline in ihrtkbks' story. (: It seems like a fun idea, I might as well take a stab at it: "I was going to tell you!" she whispered frantically, tears smearing her makeup. He squeezed the stupid rose tighter until a thorn pierced through his skin. He dropped it immediately and shook his head. “I wanted to, please, trust me,” she reached for his hand. “Trust means nothing,” he jerked away and walked out. 54 words. Don't kill me if it's horrible! It's eight in the morning and my writing skills aren't so sharp when it's early, haha. |
![]() ![]() ![]() fucking fantastic. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love yours. I love short stories which leave a lot to interpretation but still have a story. Okay, this is mine; it has 54 words. I went ahead and posted it as a story too. His arms rested on the salmon lockers on either side of me. He looked at me, his eyes begging permission. My eyes slowly shut, giving him my answer. He leaned in and kissed me, a searing kiss right on the lips. From behind him came the fast steps and furious shrieks of his now ex-girlfriend. |
