This is an amazing story. I never reviewed it before, but I've loved it for awhile.

I've been once...looks like you got a better facility than I did. I was just there to detox from a bad med change...spent 2-3 days...with the "nurses" all telling me I'd never be let out ever again the whole time. If you aren't suicidal when you go in...you will be while you're there. I'd almost rather die than ever go back...and I only went because my mom didn't want to watch me while I came down off the drugs they'd pumped me full of. I'm gonna be a counselor some day...because we don't deserve to be treated like that...like expendable wastes of space. We didn't have to wait 2 hours for the injections they were almost immediate...and we had "school"...and "therapy" was a joke...I was high and insane out of my mind with the fear (i've got anxiety disorders out the ass and spent most of my time hyperventilating while "nurses" fussed at me for being "melodramatic") but even I could still see the bastardizations of the general schools of therapy weren't being efficiently employed. Hell it was actually interesting in a way to watch them undermine your sanity at every turn while trying "to help you"...in a sick twisted kind of way of course. Anyway from another crazyfuck...you're not alone.

I thought this was GREAT. Kitty is a character that many teenagers are able to empathize with and that is the beauty of the story. Many "insane" characters are hard to identify with-Kitty is not. Good job.
