I wasn't really paying much attention, I'll admit, but...

I love the last three lines. very nice metaphor!

I like the contrasts drawn in this, the beauty and the ugliness in the first stanza, the harsh coldness and the gentleness in the second. The last lines are both sardonic and wholly depressing, which is an interesting combination.

lovely imagery you create. I usually think of November Rain (hahah) but... nice.
