Poor Beth. I honestly veer clear of stories involving cheating, but damn. Finally gave in.
Not looking forward to the confrontation that I know will come, but it's just too good.

Thank you for a great story that I've enjoyed reading twice! I loved it when I first read it but it's gotten even better on second read. I remember being disappointed learning Emily and Nell were not meant to be together in the end. But in fact the last chapter is pretty perfect. You're still my favourite writer. Never stop writing, please. xxx

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Very good drama and angst as promised. I liked Emily and I disliked her at the same time, but it was because of the angst. She made the story and she made me keep reading. The way she tried to bottle everything up inside and press on like nothing was wrong when it was so obvious that things were very wrong is what made me dislike her, but people are like that and it did make for a great story. I'm not totally convinced that she changed completely in the end, but it was obvious that she changed enough to not give into Nell. It was good to see that she had some control over her life and make the right decision.
I would've liked a little more insight on Nell's life after Emily because despite how it seemed like things worked out, all things could not have been right in her life for her to be kissing on Emily in a public bathroom. Louise was cool for the simple fact that she was able to speak her mind the moment after everything happened. She didn't bottle it up, didn't let it fester, and didn't ignore it, which does make her seem like a good choice for Emily. Hopefully, Emily uses Louise as an example on how to live and cope.
Anyway, I don't want to ramble on any more than I have already. This story was very, very good. It was extremely entertaining and interesting, especially when you see Emily trying to fool everybody, but the only one she's really fooling is herself. The love scenes were tastefully written. The writing in general was good, flowed, and worked well. The subtle (and huge) show of Emily's inability to cope with life was great to read about. You are a great author. Thank you for writing this. Hasta...

Glad she finally realized that she needs help and she actually went to go get the help! :)
| StarvingLunatic chapter 20 . 11/20/2009
*Bows to you* I love this story, especially this chapter. It's all angsty and whatnot, just as advertised. I'm glad Nell finally got things out in the open. Emily does need to deal with things; I mean, getting names confused is one thing, but still sending texts to a dead person phone is another. Hopefully, she can pull herself together before she ends up in a padded room...the one next to mines is free. _ Well, onto the next chapter.

So...where were they bowling to have 'attractive bowling shoes'? I'm guessing those shoes weren't the ones the alley rents to people. (I know it's sad that out of everything that happened in the chapter, the shoes is what worries me).

I did not see that coming. I guess I'll have to stop looking forward to an all-out confrontation between Emily and Beth. Well, I suspect you have more drama to come, so I'll just look forward to that. Still a good story. On to the next chapter. Hasta...

I was planning to read the story all the way through to the end before reviewing, but this seemed like a nice place to pause and say a few words. I like your writing style; it's to the point and clean (not too wordy), which is good for a simpleton like myself. Things are really interesting, especially up to this point where Emily has just screwed up, recognizes it, but can play it off for a little while. I'm curious to see what happens with her and Beth and also what happens with her and Nell, so I'm going to move on to the next chapter. I do like what you've got going so far, though. Good story. Hasta...

Ok, so haven't been reviewing but have been reading. I sort've lost intrest in the story, didn't feel the need to continue reading. But I did read and I like the last chapter. Not just because its the last one and the story is finished, I like how it ended with Emily and Nell. They had time to discuss everything and so forth. Nell was disappointed but Emily knew what she wanted and needed and she didn't really need Nell. Was good. Keep writing.

Ok so finally finished! I really liked the story over all. Plenty of angst, lots of emotions and lots of love - not all of it requited or simple. I think this was a really good original piece and you did a really good job dealing with some complicated issues.

ah so Emily's staying. Maggies mad, and I still think Nathan sounds hot! Now for the final chapter!
