 feisty sonnet chapter 1 . 8/6/2008 first of all...i really don't mind that the story is a cliche. I like cliches cause you never go wrong with them and even though the story of a girl falling in love with her brother's best friend has been done countless of times before, it still works cause even though there's a common start...you have so many directions to which you can go... next...your olivia character is a little bit hard to sympathize with...although she is allowed to have her hysterics after finding out the news of Tommy's recruitment, i do believe that she should have been more mellow towards Tommy... but i like your story...so i'm going to read the next chapter... |

| GrannyP chapter 18 . 7/31/2008 Wow, it's over. I bet your glad to have it finished! Although with me it seems that finishing a story just means more work, as editing and such tends to loom over my head. Well, I guess it was nice that they had a happy ending. I'm personally not a big fan of endings that include a wedding (I'm just weird like that; I think marriage is like, the least romantic thing in the world). But normal people would disagree with me, so your way is fine. I guess my favorite part about this ending is that Livy actually got to pick what she wanted. I feel lame saying that, but it's a big deal for me! I can't stand having to go along with other people want just because their votes outnumber mine, when it's something that is specific to me. Okay, now I am just ranting about nonsense. Anyway, congratulations on finishing your story! I hope you are pleased with the final product! |
