I'm so happy you updated! Actually, this update kinda made me feel guilty about myself. I haven't update my story in like forever cuz of my busy schedule and I feel bad about the few readers I have readers who are probably very disappointed in me. But anwyay. The highlight of my last week would have to be my birthday. Since I just started my freshman year in hs at a place where I hardly know anyone, I definitely felt special. I walked in and this girl who I hardly talked to said Happy Birthday to me and I felt so loved. And then when I got to my locker my friend was trying to tie balloons to it. The girl who has the locker next to mine, who I hardly talk to either, was really sweet and said Happy Birthday too. And then everyone else started saying it, even older girls in the grades above me who I didn't even know were nice enough to say it. It was really sweet. And I should put it out there that it's an all girls school. So yeah. *smiles* Kinda rattled on, but now I'm done. Please update soon and I'd love to answer more questions. lol

The flashback at the beginning of this chapter is fantastic. Everything in this story so far has been very real; maybe because I've already been through most of it, but I think an audience without kids can identify just as well with Erin - she's had to mature very fast for varying reasons. That was so surprising to learn about her mom being an addict/alcoholic; a big twist to me, because I was expecting Erin's mom to have rejected her after becoming pregnant at 16. I admire Grandma's character a ton, she's definitely my favorite so far! And she has big competition with Ellie, who despite being ficticious I half-want to set-up a playdate for Sebastian with.

Good chapter. Less awkward than I thought the situation would be... maybe I don't hate him as much as I thought I did.

Hmm...intresting sums it all up. I don't know how to feel about Nathen. I want to hate him for leaving Erin. But then I sort of get the feeling that he wants to know Ellie, but can't and that makes me feel bad for him. I hope that you update soon.

Cute...I don't know if you've planned the story already. But I want Erin to be with Nathan...

I am enamored with this story! I have been reading it since the beginning, and I will stick with it throughout its course. I have to admit, it has felt like a drought this past week with the lack of updates...but I know it is challenging to fit in writing when you have a busy schedule. Erin is a lot like me- brave, headstrong, and responsible. I think the way she is dealing with the whole Nathan-Downey situation is particularly mature. Ellie is adorable, and I love Kelsey's outspoken attitude. Keep up the terrific work!
