As much as I wish and love happy endings, I'm happy that you kept this story real. Up until this day, I made sure that all the stories I've read on fictionpress have happy endings. I gave your's a chance despite knowing from the beginning that Ryder died. I tried to not get myself attached to the couple but it didn't work. I still cried, but I don't regret reading this. I'm sorry for your personal lost - Jalen - and I just want to say great story. Keep writing and good luck with the publication.

wow um im really kind of speechless right now. Your story is beautiful. It had me literally crying at the end and right now as im writing this and thinking about it the tears are coming back and threatening to fall all over again. It just goes to show that life doesnt always hand you happy endings and an easy enjoyable life, ive actually learnt that this year, life can be a real bitch. I just wanted to tell you that i admire you for writing this and i think you are amazing and stong and just awesome :) xx

I don't know what to say. Right now, tears are running down my face and I feel totally devastated. When I started the story, at the end of every chapter I would say "Wow! It's cool" until I learnt that it was a real story and when I read about your "Ryder's" death I just couldn't keep myself from crying.

i lved the story. knowing its true reminds me why i never read non-fiction. im really sorry about your friend...i havent read the reviews but im sure people say they know how you feel but you know they dont really...sadly i really do know you feel...so i really am sorry...Dreat story though pity they didnt get together- i wish you had lied about the ending but i understand why you didnt.

I was looking through my favorites list and I was shocked I didn't put this story up there. I read this a little bit back and I loved it and still do. Therefore I conclude I must've been high.

Absolutely brilliant. This isn't the most complex in-depth plot I've read-then again, no way does complexity mean a good story-but you had the ability to do what no other story did to me. And that was tear up. I was broken on the inside, especially when you dedicated this to your person, whether it be friend or more. What caught my attention was his name. I know a person by that name,just with a 'y', whom I lost as well.

I loved the layers in your characters and the unexpected 'twist' in the beginning. I didn't know who Jonnie would fall for at first. She'd fall for someone in the house, but who I wasn't certain who. I applaud the way you structured the story. All the events constructed an even deeper relationship between the characters for the reader to fall even more in love with your story-Meat Wars, Ryder being thankful for Jonnie. And most importantly, you allowed your readers to fall in love with your characters, an aspect I find most important when setting the line between a great story and a memorable one.
