the way you changed a seemingly hopeless, self-hating situation into one where you're loved is great - i happen to have some scars of my own, and i think this is a nice change of pace. although i find writing poetry about how horrible and addicting cutting is a good way to release those choked up feelings, i like to hear how cutting doesn't have to end bad! this poem is hopeful, and people desperate enough to mutilate their bodies need hope.

even if your poem wasn't about any of that at all, and you're thinking "what the fuck?" i still am adding this to my favorites :)
