This is the second time I've read through this story, staying up entirely too late to finish it again. I think the thing that I enjoyed the most this time was reading through and remembering little snippits of what was to come. For example, when Lasha bumped into Evan's sister in the palace hallway for the first time, I cried out 'That's RIGHT!' because I remembered how sweet and enamored Lasha was towards Analise even though it was such a 'small' part of the story.

One of the things I like best about your work (being a fan of several of them), I enjoy very much how down-to-earth so many of the characters are. I'm always a fan of devoted, serious, and blade-sharp-wise characters and your tales are full of them without them all coming off the same. It's a delight. :) As always, thank you for sharing.

This story is really good - lots of intrigue, excitement do gret character development. The growth of the main characters was impressive throughout the story. It's excellent.

I never imagined that I would get so attached to these characters, but I have and am still a bit disappointed to see them go. Evan and Dahl hands down win Best Married Couple. Ughh my babiesssss. They are just so certain of each other; my heart flutters in sympathetic happiness for them, it really does. 3 It also helps that their interactions are very natural and organic, if you will. It feels like Dahl and Evan are people first and foremost, and beyond being just characters. Does that make any sense? :)

I'm impressed by your creation of Alonzo; I don't quite like him, but what he does is for the sake of the country. He's a complex character. Actually, every time he appears with some machination, I'm partially cheering him on (hey, competency is attractive) and partially a little worried (because it would be so easy to start doing what he /thinks/ is best for the country instead of what is truly best for the country).

I was a bit thrown by the suddenness with which the conflict was resolved. After spending so long trying to solve the Vidar problem, he's killed just like that? And the fact that Dahl and Evan were so conveniently and quickly accepted by the Tarks was a bit suspect, since apparently the prudery of country nobles are so well known. Overall though, I can say that The Final War was *teakettle noises* actually nope I don't have any words that can describe my feelings right now. Agghhhhhhh it was just so good! Not only was the writing smooth and engaging, but as I've said before, the characters and plot were phenomenal. Thank you sharing. 3

I read this story years ago and just came back for a re-read, finally thought I ought to leave a review :) I really love this story! The best mix of romance, sexiness, and plot. There were a few little things that weren't entirely perfect, like I felt Evan's parents forgave him a little quickly and that Vidar's death was a little sudden after they'd spent so long trying to deal with him, but overall a really great read. Are you still writing as much, nowadays?

Oh man, I regret not having read this sooner! This is pure gold - Your graceful writing style melded in so nicely with the story that sometimes I just pause and go "Woah..." because you take my breath away!
I loved the characters, and I have to admit I did feel a teensy bit of pity for the king and his lonely death, although it was fitting...
Dahl and Evan were absolute cutiepies, but i also found Vaden and Anisia's interaction really, really cute! It's just lovely!
I probably have lots more i would gush to you about, but I'm still basking in the afterglow of this wonderful tale, I'm just speechless and not sure what to say. Thank you for this story! I enjoyed it immensely.

My goodness. Alonzo is such a fabulously complex and rounded character. I don't entirely like him, but that just makes him perfect. Very excellent writing in his making.

I have to say, I seriously regret not reading this story sooner! It was one of those ones I said "maybe." and forgot to come back to, but I seriously regret that now. This story was amazing, and with each chapter I just fell more and more in love with Evan and Dahl. I'm not sure how to explain it but just the way every other character stood out as much as each-other and didn't just blend into the background of the story was great- if that makes any sense..

Anyway, I think this is amazing.

I'm glad that Evan's mom decided to support them and she really went all the way when she did. This was another amazing story and I just loved all the characters. :)
