ilovetheopera chapter 1 . 2/28/2008
what drew me in was the title and the summary combined; good thing the haiku was also very nice.

i don't know what's so awesome about it and i had to seriously comb my mind for the right words but when i read it, the words sounded out in my head and i fell in love. i think it is the imagery, somehow. and the lovely little last line.

a favourite, definitely. if there was such a thing as good haiku this would be it.

Wow. From so few words you managed to say so much, well done.
I.O.K.O chapter 1 . 10/19/2007
Some sort of encryption. I enjoy haikus like this one. I had an epiphany- this is poetry. Sometimes I feel guilty when I don't write cryptic poems, then I realize I'm apathetic and the feeling is gone.

I love the last line. You took what would have made a nice haiku of a moment in time and made it into something special. The title fits this perfectly.

Moondog Dozier chapter 1 . 10/13/2007
Visual, true and poignant. I like how this makes the reader think about the conclusion, and ponder the truth of the words. Great haiku. MD:77.
