Oh shit! That's awesome. It makes me laugh when people really don't know when is a good time to stop talking, and just back off when they are clearly treading on thin ice.

Awesome. I love that Mattie freaked him out like that, it's awful to play with people like that but I have to admit it can be quite funny from time to time.

Aw. Erik has a date. And more insight into Mattie, you really write the most intriguing characters. Yet when I try to do the same they just kind of fall flat.

That's just awful what they've done. I don't like her anymore. Are these people stupid? Seriously. No human decency or sense of understanding.

Haha poor Erik. The next chapter should be completely wonderful. And I like Dr. Burgess, she reminds me of someone but I can't place who.

"“Why does he only talk to you?” Demanded Dr. Burgess, looking between the two, and both of them ignored her.

“Because she was asking what was wrong with you?” Erik asked, reading the paper over again, “And you gave her an answer?”

Matthias felt his lips twitch. Finally, someone without a diagnosis-driven mind. “The answer that she wanted to hear. Pity she couldn’t see it right under her nose.”"

Brilliant. That is also one of my favourite parts of the Tell-Tale Heart. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful love.

I love when I read a book, or anything and it is shown that the person who wrote it has done their research, which you clearly have. And that is amazing. You will be an amazing writer some day because of that, and definitely should attempt to be published.

"The first floor was designed in a block shape, so he went the other way. He passed a gift shop with useless trinkets and the owner looked at him curiously but didn’t say anything. He doubted they’d done an intercom announcement, although it might have been funny; ‘Loony from the fourth floor on the loose! We repeat, loony on the loose!’ He couldn’t stop the laugh that bubbled up and cursed the drugs as people stared."

I laughed at this. I am an awful human being. But I did laugh at it.

I also laughed at the stir stick image, just...yeah.

Excellent descriptions as usual, Matthias is clearly...damaged. But insanely loveable.

"The young man was of average height and build for his age, with a pair of thick-framed glasses that settled on his thin nose and a little patch of hair on his chin that served as a goatee. He had skin the colour of coffee spilt and dried on paper, like a sun warmed, watered down bronze, and messy brown hair that looked like it was fighting for dominance- and winning due to its lack of usual ponytail restraint. He looked more as though he belonged in a café, sipping a latté- not in a hospital after years of university."

That is brilliant description, I wish I could write descriptions for my characters the way you do yours. Maybe I should talk it out with you before I do it. Then we can work them out together.

This chapter is very good, poor Erik. He really doesn't know what he's getting into does he?

*shudders* Yeah. This is good. A little too good...It's...Yes.

Anecdote: Once stared at a wall all night *thinking* I was asleep...

Now on to the review!

It was great to see Matthias in a 'normal' setting...and while we had the impression that he was back to normal now that he was no longer being drugged, this chapter really makes it clear that something is in fact wrong with him (beyond the insae meds dose), what with him looking around the cafe, all paranoid for reasons yet unknown(which I hope to find out about very soon *hint, hint*).

And the way he was talking about his family was intriguing to say the least...Hm, I'm still trying to figure out how he really feels about them. I mean, it's pretty obvious he preferred his mom to his dad, the way he was defending her, but damn, what IS happening with his family?

I've got to say the ending (Matthias' disappearance) was kinda expected...I mean as soon as he said he needed to go to the restroom, I figured it out. .

I really like how often during their interaction, Matthias is the one with the upper hand, he's the one in charge. And I think that's one of the reasons why he opens up to Erik, why he's so comfortable with him...with Erik, he feels like he's the more experienced of the two, Erik lets him reassert himself, he can toy with him..Erik doesn't try to crush him, doesn't look down on him like the other doctors and maybe his parents too?

Favorite line? "“Are those girls jeans?”" LOL! This single observation helped me picture how Matthias looked in normal clothes! Funny and clever.

Oh my gosh! You did not just end this too-good-to-be-true update here! No! You damn tease! Just when things were starting to get interesting...

Those have got to be some pretty heavy meds they were giving Matthias if the effects last so long... I confess I have no idea how you're going to handle Matthias' "recovery"... should be interesting to read...

Strangely, I'm curious to "see" how Matthias looks like in real clothes. Now, I realize I can't very well *see* him, but you know, I want to read about him evolving somewhere outside of the Bin, and in his own clothes...ah, does that make any sense at all?

I'm deprived. I need more chapters, pliz!
