This looks interesting. The first chapter seemed rather short though. I didn't really get a clear description of Iris or Emma's appearance. But, I'm guessing that Emma is a blonde, blue eyed woman and Iris is a brunette or something like that.
The action scene with Emma seemed rushed and short, too. Like, Emma just heads on over to the target's location and takes him out without much struggle.
Looking forward to reading more of this story, though. The characters and their interactions are good so far.

I sobbed at least twice in this story. I don't understand why you don't have more reviews because this is truly a well written story. I really hoped Iris didn't have to die and she could live with Emma till they're old and frail but I guess that's what makes this story so good, it's realistic. Thanks for the great read

Very nice. I like the overall idea. This story didn't lose it's flow. Usually can't stand tragic endings to romance, but killing Iris made her more human and less untouchable.

Yo! So I read your story over the summer, I had no net [saved it on a usb] and I thought you might like a review, though it's mostly commentary. Here it is!

Chapter 1: Yup. As soon as I read the first part I was hooked. Damn. Amazing, captivating beginning. Let's see how the rest goes, eh? ;P
Chapter 3: Niice. That's all I gotta say. :P
Chapter 13: She called Damien while she was down there. "Did everything go alright?" "Yeah, a few cops came by, but you know the drill," he replied. "Is Emma alright?" "She was shot." "You're kidding." "I wish," Iris sighed. "Fortunately it was just nicked her side. I don't know what I would have done if it had been somewhere fatal." "Yeah, I wouldn't want to see what happened to Vasquez if he did. You're very protective of Emma now, I've noticed." "Goodbye, Warren." - What? Damien? or Warren? Typo? O_O Oh.. you cleared it up in the next chapter. ;
Chapter 14: Aha! I've found it! The answer to your riddle for the story's description! It's Rae! Rae finds out! :D Am I right? :D and uh oh.. Violet. :O
Chapter 26: I want to cry. This story's going in my Top 3s. The ending is so flippin depressing.. but it was amazing. If things ended another way I'd feel warm and fuzzy inside! .. but they didn't. Damn. Instead of feeling happy I'm all depressed now. :d Not sure if I want a sequel or not. :O I would've thought Iris to be smarter than that and to hide those documents somewhere safer and harder to get to. Sigh. Not really satisfied with the ending. Or at least, heartbroken that Iris is dead. T.T Yeah. I'm rambling now ain't I. She should've killed Damien first. asdfhgsafs. Chapter 2: Yup. Just wanna say. I think I've had several nightmares and heart attacks from reading this story, considering my heart was aching all night and I couldn't stop thinking about the death of Iris. Hooray. You know this story is addicting when.. -_- Basically, all I'm tryna say is that this story touches heart. Not many do.. this story is a fine piece of art. :D Remarkable.

I swear, it's like you lead me on in the middle of the chapter. When Alex told Emma that he had a message, I got so happy. I was like "YES! Maybe Iris survived and used Alex as a messenger and will be with Emma in the end!" But nooooo, you wanted to keep her dead... T_T (I blame my habit of wishful thinking and optimism.)

You have a few typos. Nothing big. No grammar mistakes either. Characterization was awesome. The way you wrote the story is just... swell. I mean, it doesn't feel rushed or too fast or too slow.

At some parts, I felt like I felt like I was in the story right along with the characters (if not, in their places).

Overall, awesome story! Which leads me to this question... Why the hell aren't there more reviews for this story!

(And I suggest putting "lesbian", "yuri", "femslash" or something along those lines because until recently, FP doesn't let people search by "f/f". .) You'll have a better chance that people will discover your stories that way.
