Haha! I like the whole "Operation Emily" plan (O.E.). I'm not a fan of the second person flashbacks, but I understand that you wanted to show what happened at Chas's party without just recounting it.

Just visualising Chas's mankini is enough to scar me for life. I wonder what will happen with this drinking game though :)

Wow, This story keeps getting better and better. All the HSC references keep getting me. I can relate to all their frustrations about Modern History and English and assessment overload in general. I like how you have made the workload and the subject they do seem accurate. It interesting how the subjects that each character does gives you a bit of insight into their personalities (like Jet's Drama, Noah's E2, Chas's Modern History, etc.)

It looks like like everyone's got a bit of family drama, which stops this story from being your run-of-the-mill romance.

I love that Emily was originally from the Shire - I guess it would be kind of stereotypical to assume that she was ditzy. But she so isn't! She seems crafty. I'm fascinated by her relationship with Noel.

The lengths that Noel and Noah are going to in order to exact their revenge are kind of hilarious. i can't wait to see what they'll do next.

i hope Chas, Jet and Kendall will play bigger roles, as will Noel's mum.

Nice work so far :) The only thing that bothered me about these past few chapters was the saccharine, overtly-fake couplesy talk between Noel and Tyler - but that's to be expected, right? They are putting on a show, after all.

I just started reading your story yesterday and I must admit - it's kind of addictive!

I'm Australian too, so it really makes me smile when you chuck in all those HSC references and phrases like "bloody hell!" (Speaking of I'm about to do my own HSC exams very soon and it just killed me when Chaz said "The long oppressed proletariat is launching a revolution against the money-sucking bourgeoisie!" Russian history is awesome - I've turned into the type of person who gets giddy with excitement whenever she sees the colour red).

I was a bit put of by Tyler's verbosity at first - it just struck me as unrealistic. And he just seemed a bit too ridiculously attractive for someone who is so reclusive. The way he speaks makes him seem extremely strange. But I'm sure there is a good reason for all his eccentricity, so I will just have to patient!

You have a really great control of language, and you've given Noel a really nice personal voice. There are countless stories I've read on FictionPress that just aren't able to do that. You really are quite the writer.

I'm loving the relationship between Noel and Noah. And I like the way you are revealing the plot. It wasn't this huge information dump about why Emily and Noel hate each other at the beginning - you let the characters speak for themselves.

So far this story is entertaining as it is interesting - I'm excited to see how it will all unfold.

I really enjoyed this story! I haven't been on fictionpress for awhile and I was bored so thought I would come on and see what was out there... I haven't stopped reading this story until I finished it and it's currently 2am! There are a few editing issues (I am a bit anal in that sense) but all in all, I thought it was a fantastic read! Keep up the writing! :)

Near the end, it kinda made me sad about just how much Tyler changed, but I kind of like it because you can't be very casual with someone who speaks like he's in the 1800's. c':
Overall, I liked the story. It's not the normal type of romance I read, but it was very enjoyable. :')

This is a great story. i really had fun reading it. It was funny and well-written. Your language is really good and you have really used some amazing metaphors here. That's really difficult to find in fiction press and I think you deserve an applause for a job well-done. :D

There were so many clichés that I wanted to cry. Not necessarily in a bad way though; even if I was like "please don't follow the cliché please I'm begging you" throughout half the story, the characters really captured my heart. Yes, even Emily. She was hateful, but Noel was just as hateful. Quid pro quo, as they say. It was a little bittersweet how their friendship ended, but maybe it was for the best. I'm glad, however, that Noel and Tyler ended up in a happy relationship with each other. I don't think my heart could've taken it if they never got back together. ;P

All your characters had a back-story and were very well-thought out. Tyler especially was complicated and brilliant all at the same time. Kudos to shaping these characters and putting together this story. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Waiting on the World'. Your characters are so rich and funny that I can't help but fall in love with them. Noel and Tyler are totally awesome together and I'm really happy things worked out between them.
