Hikane was a really cool character. I liked how she evolved into a brave knight from that scared child she was at the beginning.

In honesty, I'd say that you moved pretty swiftly on the timeline, which kinda removes my sense of time in the story and leaves me hanging off events 4 or 5 hours ago. However, I do enjoy the intimacy and formal chemistry of the two characters. Mechanic terms, other than the occasional typo, most of it seems fine. Certain passages seem slightly repetitive. However, overall, I like this story. Now, understanding that this story is 3 years old (though being in the middle of your long resume of drabbles) plus your background, that all made the story more enjoyable. I look forward to looking through your other stories.

This was one of the most beautiful love stories I've heard, with two lovers fighting for what they care about. They'd face death for each other, and thank the gods they were so lucky.
