![]() ![]() ![]() amen. pure beauty and perfection. flawless, gorgeous ... so, so true. need i go on? [definitely a favorite.] just one thing: it's not a big deal as i know it was definitely not out of disrespect, but since you write in all lowercase (i do the same thing), you'll have to consciously remember to capitalize 'God.' it doesn't come across as disrespectful, it's just a little thing that bothers me. it doesn't ruin the poem, though. i don't think anything could. keep writing. you are amazing. in the peace and love of Christ, alison xx as always, God bless you. x3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful, really good...but the last line? There was nothing political about it at all and then suddenly you come in with America - it doesn't quite fit. Maybe you could say "the world" or "humankind" or something instead? Just a suggestion. |
![]() ![]() ![]() not just america. tons of people cant see it. it makes me kinda sick. people dont appreciate anything. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is soft, genuine, and slightly morose. Some of my favorite qualities in a poem, I think. The only thing I disliked was you using people's hearts in two different stanzas. And I hate to say it, but I think the end almost got a bit too 'rant-ish', if you know what I'm saying. One last thing: "and shows us little ways that he cares/ why we be grateful, accept it, see it?" I think you may have made an error while typing 'why we be grateful,' Or it's at least not coming out quite clear to me. Sorry this was so long. Great job otherwise! ~WB |
![]() ![]() ![]() your words certainly took my breath away. very nicely structured, but the overall message really did it for me. bravo! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Americans are blinded, by money, lust and greed. We have been "handed" so much that we don't think twice about things that can't give us money, like trees and plants, nature...It's sad but true. I too wish that people would give thanks for the little things in life thta actually make the biggest difference. Very nice work c. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The first five paragraphs of these really took my breath away. You made some great analogies there, and although I am not religious this is extremely powerful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() i think america is too blind to see it. its the little things in life that are truly beautiful, and people's souls... |
![]() ![]() ![]() there's a great tone in this and descriptions are very fluid. i liked how each of the environmental analogies reads like a seperate proverb but are powerful together. i'm more of a questioner than a believer but this is testomoniy to faith. nice work. |
