Well dont I feel dumb. In my reading I missed several parts and made assumptioms that were just wrong. Im sorry for that.

Im honestly wondering if theres actually magic in this story? I mean it would explain a lot, except for glossing over the potential rape, but otherwise it would answer an awful lot of things.

This is also over the last chapter. So she lets her rapist step sisters go without any form of criminal indictment. Her abusive and cruel step mother is still allowed to teach. Her parents are committing serious fraud, that their daughter is now complicit to, in the the fact they arent dead and their daughter gets their inheritance. She lives with Kelly now so her parents also clearly still don't give a shit about her. Also once again the fucking RAPE attempt is just water under the bridge.

Maybe if there was an actual threat of assassination on Erikas life that could explain her parents abandoning her but the whole "live a regular life" bullshit went right out the window once it was found out they were alive. I mean they KNEW she was being abused and did NOTHING for how many years!

This story is so well written that to see it fall apart because of this is saddening. Their isnt even a reason they abandoned her, none, they just left.

The story was great up until her dead parents suddenly showed up. Those two are some of the most disgusting human beings on the planet. There is absolutely no excuse that anyone could ever make up for abandoning their child into an abusive and degrading life. Her mother and father are sick and twisted human beings and sadly this story fall far from what a happy fairy tail ending would be. The fact they think that for some fucked up reason that, now after they abandoned Erika, they can suddely show up in her life makes them completely deplorable. This isnt a happy ending its sad and twisted that Erika is so screwed up she just accepts her dead parents suddenly showing up and going "surprise we're not actually dead. Oh and sorry for that whole abandoning thing. Just water under the bridge right?"
I mean they just LEFT HER THERE knowing her situation and they did NOTHING! How in any form is this anything but a fucked up and twisted ending

Sooooòoooooooooooo apparently we're just going to completely ignore the attempted rape? Also the fact that Erikas mouth wasnt covered and she didnt call for help, instead she argued with her sisters and even stayed silent after they ripped her shirt off? This just... I honestly dont know what to say to this. Its stunning.

Whelp with how Erika is shes is screwed for her birthday, she doesnt stand a chance in hell. But worst of all is everyone apparently ignoring the attempted rape and just brushing it off as the terrible twosome just being themselves.

I find it very surprising how oblivious Erika is apparently being. Her step sisters had the date circled, stolen alcohol, clearly a vibrator, a note for a super strong drink, and they are schemers. How is she not expecting something to go down? How did she forget her sisters had the date LABELED!? I mean her sisters were really really obvious yet she expects nothing? Plus she tells no one but her two friends. Warns nobody who matters and has done nothing that matters. I mean come on can someone really be that oblivious?

I liked both Kelly and Erika the same way and it was a real joy to see them get closer. And that kiss in the car! 3
I guess the only thing I didn't like was the ghost part. I wished Buck would act as the godfairy and provide the dress and everything. And that Erika could only talk with her parents on the phone until the case was resolved. It would have felt more real even if it wasn't. This way it feel too simple x)
But we gotta write what we wanna write and the final choice is always the author's one to make.

To finish, I prefer to think they didn't try a foursome with Kat and Mary even if it was more or less implied...(or am I reading into it too deep?) because even if I don't have a problem with that at all, I want them to be with only each other for now xD

I have an inkling as to why they are eager to interview her but I do not know what is up with all the secrecy. Hmm.

Great story however. I felt the four way reference and subsequent occurence cheapend some of the romance. With that I still felt it was one of the best I ever read.
