Slut. Im sorry, I really couldnt find a better way to describe her. Shes an embarassment to all women who went through sexual abuse. Not all of them become sluts, you know.

I started reading this story after I finished The Bluest Eyes (which I loved by the way). This story is quite enjoyable as well. Perhaps, it has more angst than humor in some parts, but that's life, right? They both let their emotions and pride drive them. Laith was so hurt and angry that she thought he was gay and that she slept with Seth that he didn't bother to consider how Seth got his hooks into her anyway. Sophie has such a low sense of self-worth that she believes that anyone deserves better than her. It's quite sad actually. The one thing I don't get though is if Laith has experienced the problems with drugs and alcohol, how he would give up so easily on her. Why did he immediately think she was lying? It's not as if she had lied to him about anything before. It just seems he was prepared to think the worst of her, the woman he loves, and leave because of it.

I have to say that I am very interested in seeing how this all works out. What kind of plan is worked out to reconcile our lovely couple. I hope that your life allows you to update soon because I know that I look forward to it.

The chapters like this make me sad, but were a really fantastic distraction from my pain. I really love all of these characters, and Sophie especially. There is something about her that is just awesome, she is so strong, and so talented, she's just amazing. Laith is driving me crazy, I don't know why but he is. . Great story, really funny, well written and thought through, any previous foreshadowing hints you left behind were followed through with and not just forgotten about. The only thing I would change is to maybe break up the paragraph a little more, when you read it, it's easier to lose your place, and it can kind of irritate my eyes. However that might also be because I tend to constantly read without my glasses because I keep losing them. I eagerly await the next chapter!

P.S. Oh! if you decide to do another story after this one, I think you should do one about Jessica, I like her a lot, even though we didn't really see much of her...

Such a depressing chapter, I hope the next one is where they get back together!

You are a thoughtful, attentive writer. As Sophie & Laith's personal/faith journeys converge (maybe?), I hope it doesn't become a modern day Crusade. Little joke there. Ahem. Anyway, I like when you describe setting/environment. The Catholic church building feels very fleshed out and real. I am starting to like Sophie more. I hope you will leave us hanging and bring us the rest in book/e-book form. I would pay to see how this story ends. Keep up your good work in moving this story along.

The chapter's great, but you REALLY need to break this up to paragraphs- it was seriously annoying to read like this. It's uncomfortable for the eyes.

I am not a romance reader, or a reading romantic for that matter, but the characters pull me along. The story is compelling. Believable, playful dialogue. That said, it's time to finish this story, Locke. Time is money.

To lazy to sign in. Hi, I found Bluest eyes and finished it, and when I saw the start of S.S I fell in love. I just love the way these two love birds think the same things, and always seem to be a pickle. (Sophie and Liath I mean) When I saw that there was no next chapter button, I died a little inside. UPDATE SOOOOOON I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER! I'm so used to having my questions answered right away, but I was so interested in your story off the bat I didn't even notice it wasn't complete yet. Update soon!

AMAZING STORY! I absolutely fell in love with the characters. The plot is fantastic and so real.
I love how they keep trying every time even though they go together through hell and beyond.
