Reviews for 42
GrammarFreak14 chapter 9 . 11/18/2013
this was very good... loved the hidden messages. Although... what exactly does "42" stand for here?
NeverEndingNights chapter 9 . 7/14/2008
This was very interesting. I loved the way it was written. There was just something about the story. I can't quite put my finger on it. But I really liked it.

This is a brilliant piece of work. Well Done! I used your bold letter word idea in my piece "Lost Soul". I found it was a subtable way to convey meaning and repeated it under "imitation is the highest form of flattery". Again, well done for using a such a brilliant, original technique.

As for the rest, I liked the meaning and seeing things through different eyes. It played out really well.
Moe Shmoe chapter 1 . 3/5/2008
Very interesting. The entire time I was wondering how you'd pull it together. It definitely caught my attention with the epilogue, and the words bolded within it.

Clever, very very clever.
SugarRayne chapter 9 . 12/27/2007
Very, very deep. Brilliant idea of having something hidden in each little 'stopping point' in the story.

This story is very skillfully written, and it's a very interesting read.

Just brilliant. This is most certainly going in my favorite stories.
Cara Ginter chapter 9 . 12/23/2007
There is something about this story that intrigues me. I can't put my finger on it.

The bolded letters were a nice touch, the hidden messages eerie. Perhaps there could have been some other way to clue in the readers, besides bolding letters though?

I think that perhaps it should have been longer. I don't understand why it's called 42.

I don't know what else to say. It was interesting, that's for sure. You have me thinking, prodding at hidden inspirations.

very interesting. i liked the bolded letters and the title, 42 indeed.

but...i guess it just seemed a little too short. you could have maybe embellished or added a couple more figures in history. like one or two? just a thought.

but very nice all the same.
