Reviews for Questionable Certainty

"As if we knew exactly what we were doing." Great moments in modern poetry. I love this line for its truth and for the fact that it fits so well with the rest of it... it's so natural. I'm crazy-mad jealous.

The Morse code bit was pretty cool, too. Stop. It's almost like arguing, too. Like, "I wish he'd look over here." "Stop." "I wonder what his hair smells like." "Stop!" Heh.

Yeah. Lovely poem. And Olympic swimming pools. Good work!

p.s. I heart your title, too.
Fan Fan chapter 1 . 12/6/2007
The shine is still there,

As I look into your eyes today.

But I feel only uncertainty

When I see the reflection of sorrow.

Yet you still smiled at me,

With such beauty and warmth that never fail to dazzle me.

But shattered when our hands touched ever so slightly.

It’s okay, I understand.

The anguish of love,

The uncertainty of life,

Fleeting, are the memories.

And moments like now,

When a touch is all we need,

To know and understand each other so well.

*grins* Such a difference of perspective very emotionally expressed in words of a mere poem. Lovely :)

I like this. You wrote it exceedingly well. I cannot pick out a verse because I like the whole thing, the whole message.

I'm going to take a look at your other poems. Because really, this is awesome.
