Reviews for The Pied Piper |

![]() ![]() Of your stories I like this one the mostest. It always sparks something in my imagination. ...for some reason i keep thinking that the piper is part fay, likely because he does not give his name and fay a touchie about the power of names in many stories. |
![]() ![]() ![]() nicely done :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved your take on this story, and Mathis' honesty, but I think what I liked most of all was the way you described the Piper and used his clothes in the story. I'd love to see a sequel with all the strange people surrounding the Piper's strange house. |
![]() ![]() ![]() loved it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the way Mathis is the only trustworthy person in this story. There was an interesting contrast between his clear maturity and his young age. |
![]() ![]() This begs for a sequel! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Beautifully written. And I love the twist in the end. I wish there was a sequel because I am curious about what the Piper's home is like. And again, really well written. Thank you for sharing your story |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story was great. I really liked it. I liked how you took the part of the story where it's the lame child at the end of the line who doesn't make it into the mountain and turned it into the honorable Mathis. A fun interpretation that manages to keep the horror-ish undertones of the original. Thanks for sharing! :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love how I'm reviewing this...4, maybe 5 years late? But I just love itso much! I've always been fascinated with the story of the pied piper, and reading this (Slash WOOT) interpretation of it was like a dream :) Swag on Infinity~ |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome twisted on a awesome story! 20 stars out of 5 stars! i loved it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, let me tell you that this left me with the desire to squeal like a fan girl! That doesn't happen very often, but this... this was wonderful! There were no flow issues that made me have to back up going "whu...?" I didn't find any confusing 'who's talking now?' moments. My eye didn't twitch once over grammar or spelling. In a word, this was fantastic! I love the characters, and 'little' Mathis was rock-solid-awesome. Oh, and how the Pied Piper's clothing changed to match his mood. That was awesome! In a word, this was sweet, powerful, and fun. I loved when Mathis asked three time what it would take to get the children back. That was fabulous. Love confessions don't happen that well very often. Excellent! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am so in love with this story! It's the AWESOME _ but I'm confused... If the children returned four days after the promise between Mathis and the Piper, what were those two doing in the three days? o.O I'm so confuzzled... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the twist you had in a classic story that I have always loved reading. I hope to read more of your work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I really like your story, it had a great beginning and it not like the usual 'once upon a time...' that nearly every fairytale spin-off has, and i like the dangerous, i think it could be described as vibe that Mathis gets from the piper, but the ending left me kinda like 'aw' but, once the glow of the 'happily ever after' fades, and you really think about it, there isn't really a happily ever after that won't come with a price, i'm sorry if it didn't make sense, but that was what i liked the most, besides the lovely characters. Uh... i was drawing and it came out that it looked very similar to the pied piper... so, I was wondering if you wanted some fan art? Let me know and I'll scan it, 'kay? Take care -Con~ |
