I've only read the first chapter due to the plagarism complaint, but this story is amazing. I'm really sorry about the accusations, that really sucks.

OH MY GOSH. That is terrible... I mean you worked hard on this story, and to have someone just like... ruin it for everyone. I'm sorry and the first few chapters I read were fantastic. You don't deserve that bull shit, and I really hope you do become an author, because you're pretty damn amazing.

Oh, schmuck. By now, I've learned that when a story has an enormous load of reviews, it was updated a relatively long time ago and it is incomplete, I'd best check the last chapter for an A/N, first, in case it was like this. I'm very sorry to hear your story was plagiarized, it is an truly and utterly pathetic thing to do and I can't even GRASP why people aren't freaking ashamed of themselves copying another's hard work! Sadly, plagiarism happens a lot, especially with the really good stories (yah, logic, I know). It sucks for both reader and author (have you ever looked forward to a story by reading the summary, but when you click it, the only thing up is chapter one, and the rest was put down because of plagiarism? Brings a very bad feeling)

Anyhoo, there's this LiveJournal thingy, called PlagiarismHaven, where plagiarized (and probably just paranoid authors, too) authors can post their stories safely. It had a bunch of rules I don't feel like typing out, but maybe you'd like to check it out (: It selects members (and therefore, readers) carefully, so it's a safe place to post.

I found a link to your story and thought I would check it out. I have only read the first chapter so far (the rest will come later) so I don't know how it turns out but I did notice something.

The plot summary - such as the one you have up on Inkpop - makes it sound rather unoriginal. There is a movie called You Drive Me Crazy with Melissa Joan Hart and it fits your summary almost exactly. Even the guy's name, Jase, sounds like the movie guy's name, Chase.

Was this intentional?

I just wanted to mention it to you because if you are wanting to get published you will probably have to make the summary sound more original.

I'm really sorry about what happened to you and yes, unfortunately, I am one of those people who have recently discovered your(emphasis on your) story. I really like the way you write and after the first chapter I'm already in love with the characters. Usually, I need to read more before I like anyone but you write really well so it's easy to fall in love with them! I went on worthy of publishing and read the first 9 chapters of TIOGR but there weren't more so I added you as a friend on LJ hoping you will accept me and allow me the opportunity to indulge myself in yet, another magnificent online reading experience. Sorry I like writing with a side of cheesy. Anyway, I understand you're upset and there are other authors that feel your pain, on LJ there is a group of authors that have banded to together and created Plagiarism Haven they hand pick readers so as to ensure that there are no plagiarists. I think what you did is great and very empowering protect what is yours its your right. So, yeah I just wanted to say that and I hope you'll let me finish reading TIOGR I heard it was a really good story and I hate feeling left out and out of the loop its a sad, sad world for me I was hoping this story would cheer me up. I've just finished reading your story - finally :P - and I must say that it was completely worth the wait. I'm so glad you reposted, and I'm so glad that you've finally found a place where you can feel safe in posting your stories.

When I first started reading, I was expecting to see more Jeffrey/Amber drama, Gossip Girl style, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this take a different turn when the true focus of the story was revealed: the Lexi/Jase pairing. The thing I really liked about this is that the romance is gradual; it creeps up on you, and also, you didn't bomb us with constant descriptions of the appearances of the characters! :)

Everything that happened here was believable, and the dialogue was wonderful!

Things to bear in mind in future works ~ perhaps work more on the minor characters and give them a bit more spotlight? Also, you could definitely add more to the parts that involve chemistry/sexual tension - OK, I admit I am addicted to those!

But overall, this story was fantastic, and I hope to read more from you in the future.
