Hola! In the middle of writing an idiotic script for a media project, so I'll try to make this as concise as possible.

Before I forget, as usual, I think there was still one of the old "wondering/wandering around" typos in there...and maybe a typo on "heard"...luckily, my memory is awful in the morning, so if I saw anything else, it eludes me now. Huzzah!

Meanwhile...Ly, if you start pulling any overly depressed junk on me, so help me, I'll come over there and knock some sense into you myself. (Or just torture you until you agree to stop acting like an idiot. Happiness!)

Now, as per the norm, my guesses are not normally very close to the actual revelations in the story, but I'm still going to hazard a guess that with the static, Ly didn't quite get the right message from Val...oh well, if I'm wrong, it'll give you something to laugh at. (I'm guessing Ly doesn't have Verizon...more bars in more places..."Can you hear me now?")

Wow, really great chapter. Full of everything that makes me adore this story. I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to read it!

OMG! You have to right more qick! I really want to know what will happen next. THis story is awsome!

I figured out what was bothering me about Ly's character around Rome and in the university. Ly doesn't come off as snobbish or stuck-up anywhere else but with Rome or at the University. His character certainly doesn't seem one to be snobby, and I believe that you aren't meaning him to be. My guess on Ly is that he wants to be alone and he's hurting, with his past and his "addiction". But his actions are translating as snobby with Rome and at the U. I don't know if this is what you wanted, but I thought I would point out the inconsistency.

I like Rome's character a lot also, though she also seems a bit shaky so far. It may be because I don't have much insight on her yet, but she seems to bounce around between timid and nice, and strong and nice.

I can't wait for Tristan's character to be broadcast more, and I'm looking forward to reading your next chapter!

So far I really enjoy this story, I like that there are hints at a plot but yet not really one quite yet. You are building at this point, and it seems to be mostly characters. I like Ly's character a lot, though it seems a bit shaky right now. He acts different with Tristan than he does with the doctor, and then differently when in the University. I can't tell yet if this is just how he is, as a sort of cover maybe or if he simply reacts differently in varied settings. You might want to address it.

Other than this, I don't usually go for the old vampire in a university bit. However, your story intrigues me and I've gotten hooked. Good chapter, hints at a plot.

Yay! I have finally caught up!

Okay, before it slips my mind, as things are prone to do when I stay up too late, I think I'm still seeing the "weather" "whether" mishaps...don't know if it's just typos or what, but thought I'd mention it...again...because I'm slightly OCD like that.

On the chapter: It really was long, but we like those kinds of chapters. Although, the one point that sticks out in my memory more clearly than everything else is when Ly goes all sulky-emo-"why didn't you tell me your father was a hunter?" on Rome. If I wasn't so afraid of waking other people up, I would have yelled at the screen: "Come on, Rome! Tell him it's not like he hasn't killed humans for blood he didn't need before!" Yeah, I was slightly perturbed by her quiet acceptance of everything...the blunt truth may sting, but it always seems to work out better in the long run. And then Ly might have thought of asking her dad for info without the "but I can't trust Rome, now" thought.

Still can't wait to see just how many people turn out to be evil! (Still hoping for all, but since the person writing this isn't me, nobody else should have to worry about that happening...oh, there's a story idea I could run with!) What will happen with Alex? What was in the stupid package from the vampire club? When will someone else die?

Can't wait for the next update, and the stationary screen is starting to shake, so I better get some sleep. Night!

Hola! Well, I'm almost caught up!

Yay for random white SUVs that aren't afraid to crash into things!

It came off (for me) as a little too convenient that Rome's mom was a doctor who could patch up Ly and that her family was as initially understanding as it was, but I'm guessing all of that makes a little more sense when we delve more into the family history...

Anywho, are we going to have another protective big brother spout or find out what was in the bag Alex had to get or at least give Rome a gun? All this and more in the next episode of: The Blood and the Restless!

I'm just gonna say one thing: she better break that promise.

Okay, I'll be brief so I can move on quicky!

I liked seeing "evil" Ly, but I really do wish someone had died.

It's not that vampires always have to be the evil ones, but are we looking at the prime minister candidate turning out to be the big baddie? (I'm kind of hoping for a major twist at the end where all the good guys turn out to be bad guys!)

Okay, moving on to next chapter...and I think you're right about the O- being the rare type, but O on its own (positive) is the one I thought was supposed to be pretty common...

(Good vampire books? Hmm...depends on what kinds of books you're interested in...and I tend to be pretty picky, so I don't have a huge list...but I did like, in particular, a few of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes vampire stories...quick, easy reads, but not an overdose of romance and plenty of blood.)

Wait... did you mean, 18 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit? Cuz 18 C would be about 64 F. Which is cool for me. Cool but nice. Unless there's a wind, then it's probably gonna be more toward the cold end of the scale.
