yeah, this sucks so far! jk. I really like it. You guys did good to meld the two styles of your writing, and I love thinking of how you both seemed to be able to anticipate what each character needed to be prompted with to develop their characters, like when Toby mixed up similes and idioms. Made me giggle.

Only irksome aspect is the fact that Toby's last name is Sylar. But don't listen to the Heroes freak. I'm just biased because he isn't Zachary Quinto.

Anyway, this wasn't a crap message, so Banane can't eat my childrens!

Another great chapter! I like the parts where Toby visits Ian. there's tension and they're also egging the other on. But the end was a nice twist. Great job.

WOW there ARE stories actually worth reading on this site! This did catch my attention, and keeps it! Unbelievable XD Throwing in a gun like that is an attention grabber.

Of course, I can still complain XD Even though the names are stated, it's easy to lose track of who did what. And small things like this: "as the ever-present dull ache knifed into a sharp pain before going back to a slightly sharper dull pain." annoyed me. This sentence could've been shortened down by half: "as the ever-present dull ache knifed into a sharp pain before subsiding", is one suggestion.

I seriously cannot believe that people in high-school age can be that immature. Even though it's the US, I still can't actually believe it.
