| the big crunch chapter 1 . 1/15/2008
i really like this,
but mostly this part:
'…but i think it’s time to stop being afraid;
faith can light the universe in ways that not even
thomas edison could fathom.'

| callista hogan chapter 1 . 1/14/2008
I really enjoyed this. It really conveyed the message you wanted to portray, and I really liked the lines "and maybe that's why we should be unfraid / and change the world / (one valley at a time)." It's... very profound, and quite beautiful.
| Captain-Dalien chapter 1 . 1/14/2008
This is incredible. It's absolutely awesome. ...I really can't think of anything else to say. Kudos. ~CD

Funny, I was actually thinking about that - we have a history midterm exam in two days, so that sort of thing is on my mind nowadays. :P Anyway, we learnt the whole "city on a hill" quote and how America seemed (seems) to think they were special (haughty of us, don't you think? :P). Anyway, excellent poem! I like how you brought in these different ideas in your imagery: Thomas Edison and lighting the world, etc.
