Your story reminds me of Beauty and the Beast in its idea of 'love in return for no love'. I like it! (I must say, the idea of a slashy Labyrinth makes me happy :D).

So! Onto the review part!

I feel like there should be a little more detail when it comes to Fabian's confession, perhaps a little more scene building and character building. I feel like he just becomes king and then he's giving us a little bit of background and then it all spills out, without so much as a big description of how he made his decision, no in depth feelings from either character, no follow up. It's kind of bland in feeling there. Perhaps if you split this into two different chapters, or at least one long chapter, about the building scenario-his mother's death, his friendship prior to this scenario, perhaps a few pensive thoughts on his encounter with the male in the marketplace.

Just a few little thoughts from me! Now onto the next chapter :)
