| KnittingKneedle chapter 1 . 1/27/2008
Hi I'm from the review marathon (link in my profile)
A very touching view of parenthood...
The first part reminds me of when a child has a tantrum or is left crying in a room and the mother has to ignore them because it teaches them about resliance...
I got the theme of growing up but always staying a child to your parents from this...
I like the repetition of dearling, darling, sweetling mine...
I didn't really like the last line, it's not as powerful as I thought it could be, maybe it's because of the language?

Sorry I didn't get round to this sooner - its been a bit of a busy week.
And at the end of it, I'm out of words. I'm speechless. I'll have a go though:
Use(less)ful... Well, I'm not sure what you mean by that, so I overlooked it. Okay, I sort of understand, but not really. Sorry.
I could comment on a number of things, actually, reading back again, but I'm not going to.
As great as ever, I believe.

"and use(less)ful" was my favorite part. Uselessful should be added to the dictionary: to mean full of uselessness. LoL! I'm going to start saying that. *grin*
