You are an amazing writer! I do have to say that I was totally confused after finishing chapter 4 and read a few lines into chapter 5. That was a dream sequence? I had to go read the reviews to see if I was the only one who had a WTF? moment. But I figured it out and got back on track. The rest of the story flowed beautifully. Also, the way you infused humor into this story was brilliant. However, I shouldn't have read this while on my elliptical. Damned near fell off twice from laughing so hard. :)

I LOVED this! I really, really did! Marshall is a wonderfully written character, and Corey's daughter is absolutely hilarious.

Some constructive criticism though - I felt like the dream scene was quite awkward. I was completely confused until I got to the author's note, and even then it almost felt like they broke up a second time and you were just writing from a much later point in the story. There are definitely some grammatical mistakes, but your plot and characterization made it easy to look over. I liked Marshall's relationship with Corey, but it felt almost gimmick-y if that makes sense. I feel like I saw the ending coming for a long time.

I must say though, your characterization and humor is by far the best thing and I'm quite impressed. I wasn't sure what to expect with how nervous you seemed about this, but I'm so happy you decided to share it! This was very entertaining - I found myself becoming quite invested in the characters and plot. Keep up the good work! :D

I can't remember a story that made me laugh so hard, and I especially love the fact that there were other relationships before Mars and Corey.

I never really liked Gray anyways. I liked him enough, but not enough to want him and Mars together.
