![]() ![]() ![]() This is so lovely, thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is so sad. :( |
![]() ![]() ![]() Their families are so kind. |
![]() ![]() ![]() They're really fast, I don't know if people can marry as fast here, maybe in two weeks at the soonest. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, this is too fast, but this is war time, it's all about staying alive. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I came here on this story after finishing Finding Grey and reading a review there about this story. Thank you for writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really, really did enjoy this story! I thought it was well written with just the right amount of romance and history! Nice work! |
![]() ![]() JUST MARRY HER ALREADY! Oh, wait. Lol. |
![]() ![]() Definitely a good start. I have to admit the summary has me curious. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The writing at the beginning was not quite up to my usual standards, choppy sentences, a little hesitance, and I'll admit on the second chapter I considered quitting. However I could see real talent under the hesitance and I liked the plot, so I hung on. A few chapters later it was picking up spectacularly. The characters are excellently designed, the story is well-written, it moves just quickly enough but not too quickly. I really enjoyed it (even put off updating my browser so I wouldn't have to flip through again to find it!) and it is officially now one of my favorites. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It feels a little strange to cheer on characters when I know the story is complete but...I sure hope they end up together! (Not that I've ever noticed any cheering to actually change an author's mind...) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like it very much, just as much as I've liked the rest of that story. I tend to not review the first few chapters, so I can get a grip on the characters and plotline first. I do like it, I like the characters, I like the plot, and it's rare that I like all the characters *and* the plot as well. Although I don't trust that Daniel, stealing a kiss from a married woman... |
![]() ![]() ...is she serious? A grown woman throwing a fit because a man didn't want to have sex with her? Trying to starve him for three weeks because of bitterness and pride? To top it off, a man who told her he didn't want to do something with her she would regret? Sure she's drowning in her grief andletting herself be a husk of a woman who neither works nor eats but she's also degrading sex to something used to forget about her grandmother's death for a few minutes? ...wow. |
